AHT encourages and supports the Amhara community and all Ethiopians, to actively participate in every aspect of life by promoting social integration into the values and culture of British society.
AHT also provides information on how to integrate into British society and about various government and social services that are important to their basic day-to-day activities in order to assist them in becoming a strong and vibrant community.
AHT promotes language, culture, and social values through social events, trips, seminars, research, discussion forums, and workshops.
OUR OBJECTIVES
A. Encourage the Amhara community and all Ethiopians in the UK, to actively participate in every aspect of life by promoting social integration into the values and culture of British society.
B. Provide information and signpost the Amhara and Ethiopian communities on how to integrate into society in the interest of social welfare and day-to-day activities in order to assist them in becoming a strong and vibrant community capable of contributing to the country’s economy and therefore improving their conditions of life.
C. The Promotion of education of the Amhara and Ethiopian language, culture, heritage, and social values through social events, trips, seminars, research, discussion forums, and workshops for all people.
